Folk & Acoustic Music
Earthwoode music was first set up by Mik Mead in Langdale Valley as a scene for folk & acoustic music artists to share ideas and new songs, having released the highly acclaimed album ‘The Langdale Tape’, also being the founder of the Langdale Charity Folk Festival and Ambleside Charity Folk Festival, his ear for upcoming, local talent and ability to produce meaningful songs is second to none.
Started in the Autumn of 2021, The Ambleside Parish Centre is hosting an ongoing set of monthly concerts called ‘Earthwoode Music Presents …’ – where Mik Mead and friends will be introducing some of their favourite Nationally known and Local folk artists to play small, seated intimate concerts in the beautiful town of Ambleside, the heart of the South Lakes.

Earthwoode Music Presents …
The 'Earthwoode Music Presents …' concerts are scheduled evenings of Local & renowned Folk Musicians performing monthly at the Parish Centre, Ambleside.
